The Munich based design studio WESTWOOD MARBLE was founded in 2022 by creative generalists Michael Daiminger and Martina Tauber.

The step to designing objects and furniture is a natural consequence of plenty of ideas that both had been collecting for years working together. Their design uses classic materials such as wood, stone and metal – the goal is on the one hand to be timeless, on the other hand to surprise.

Their first collaboration is with the German company Schönbuch with the presentation system "SCENA", a series of shelves for the presentation of art, books and objects that can be combined in endless variations serving your needs.

Michael Daiminger, born in Germany in 1967, established his own design studio in 1997. Trained as Graphic Designer he is specialized in corporate design and packaging in the areas of Architecture | Interior Design | Art. In 2014 photography became an established pillar in his business with a focus on Interior Photography | Fine Art Photography.

Martina Tauber, born in Germany in 1974, founded her own art advisory MARTINA TAUBER FINE ART in 2012. Trained as a Museologist and Art Historian she gained profound knowledge in contemporary art working for leading galleries in Berlin in the 1990ies. Her focus is on curating, art concepts, art dealing.

Michael Daminger and Martina Tauber live and work together in Munich, Germany.
